Recently, China National Energy Group Yulin Chemical 50,000 tons/year polyglycolic acid (PGA) degradable materials demonstration project was officially completed and put into operation, opening up the entire production process, marking the world's first set of coal-to-polyglycolic acid degradable materials demonstration project to achieve industrial production. It has important demonstration significance and positive influence on promoting the transformation and development of China's coal chemical industry to "high-end, diversified and low carbonization".

In the 50,000 tons/year polyglycolic acid equipment, intermediate tank area, loading and unloading truck facility units, the 36 pneumatic ball valves provided by the United Nations Valve have achieved good results, fully affirming the rigorous and realistic attitude of the United Nations valve and the style of excellence.

The degradable materials produced by the project can replace a large number of disposable plastic products, and can be completely harmlessly degraded in the natural environment such as soil and sea water in only six months to one year. The products of this project can not only be made into disposable tableware, plastic bags and other daily necessities, but also have a very wide range of applications in high-end fields such as medical surgical sutures, agricultural mulch, underground unconventional oil and gas exploitation.

Congratulations on the first set of 10,000 tons of polyacetate alcohol degradable materials in China successfully put into operation! The development of chemical industry has made human life more colorful. The future low-carbon environmental protection is still the goal and direction of China's development.
