Structural Characteristics Instructions
Adsorbable stem packing The merchant has a raised mounting pad that allows the packing to be adjusted with the operator in place and prevents unorganized discharge into the operator in case of leakage. Premium PTEE Chevron packing systems are used as vertical and elastic seat valves, and graphite packing systems are used on fire and metal seat valves. All packaging systems have a ph range of 0-14.
Blowout preventer stem If the stem fails, an elastic baffle installed between the machined stem slot and the gland retainer step will ensure that the stem is secured and not forced out. Stem connections comply with ISO 5211.
Positioning ring Anti-squeeze washers act as packing protectors and allow packing flexibility. As an alternative, anti-squeeze spacer rings can be used instead of sleeve rings for leak testing.
Bearings PTFE lined stainless steel top and bottom bearings offer both excellent corrosion resistance and low coefficient of friction. Bearings support and hold the stem in place, preventing deformation caused by severe forces and temperatures acting on the disc and stem. The positioning ring provides further disc/stem support.
Seats The standard configuration of Tonsun high performance butterfly valves is silicone electrified RPTFE seats. Silicone provides the elasticity needed for an airtight seal, while 15% glass-filled PTFE provides excellent frictional properties and corrosion resistance. Optional fire and metal seats available.
Pin The shaft fixture hole can only be drilled after the valve is assembled and accurately aligned, ensuring that the accurate alignment is drilling the shaft fixing device hole to ensure the perfect position. The disc is fastened to the shaft using a unique tangential conical pin that transmits the load when compressed rather than when cut.
Disc A complete port and optimized hydrofoil disc shape maximizes valve flow efficiency. Disc edges are finely polished to ensure zero leakage seals and minimal seat wear. Unlike centerline valves, the sealing surface is not located on the leading edge of the disc where initial wear occurs.
Retainer ring The retainer ring provides easy seat replacement and also serves as a built-in diversion cone to divert fluid from the seat. The valve body is recessed to seal and support the buckle.
